as of March 1, 2022, proof of vaccination (qr code) will no longer be required for entry to the arenas. Everyone should continue to follow all Durham Region Public Health directives, including mask-wearing, hand-washing, frequent testing, and other possible measures, as required.
The following protocols come in to effect March 21, 2022: - Face masks are no longer mandatory in facilities; however, the OWHA does require masks to be worn in the dressing room and on the bench (please read their policy here). Also, for anyone recovering from COVID, after isolating for 5 days, masks must be worn at all times (including on the ice) up to and including the 10th day, as per Provincial and Durham Health guidelines.
- Note: 10 days from symptom onset or Rapid Antigen Test result, whichever came first
- All facility users must self-screen for COVID symptoms prior to entering the facility
- It is strongly recommend that all facility users maintain a physical distance of 6 feet from members of a different household
- Spectators are encouraged to exit the facility immediately after games
- Spectators must not gather in hallways, before or after games
- Warmups are not permitted inside the facility
